BODY JET INTRO

The Body-Jet, also referred to as Water Jet Liposuction (WAL), uses a thin, fan-shaped jet that is channeled into the fat tissue. As a result, the fat easily loses its structure and is released.

Body-Jet essentially flushes the fat instead of destroying it. Body-Jet offers a superior harvesting opportunity for fat transfer.

Body-Jet loosens the fat without requiring impact on the fat cell itself. Body-Jet uses only 25% of the infiltration fluid usually required for standard liposuction. This reduction in fluid results in less swollen mass, improved patient comfort and decreased tissue trauma. This new method allows for assessment of new contours during surgery which greatly reduces the number of corrective actions. Water-assisted liposuction can actually be performed under local anesthesia. The fat that is removed can be used in fat transfers.
